Instructions
Pour can of chickpeas with liquid into a saucepan. Add peeled garlic cloves to the pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Take pan off heat, cool for a few minutes.
Pour chickpeas with garlic and any remaining liquid into a blender. Add in lemon juice and olive oil. Blend until smooth. If you need, add a bit more oil until you have a desired texture, smooth and creamy.
Season as desired. See 3rd paragraph of post for some ideas.
Great served warm or chilled. Store in refrigerator. Can drizzle some more olive oil and seasoning over when serving if you like. Enjoy!
