Measure your oats (estimating is fine) and place in a dry pan over medium-low heat. Stir often for even toasting.
Toast oats to your desired level of toastiness, anywhere from a bit golden-brown to a darker brown. This will take about 5 to 10 minutes.
Place oats in a container. Stir in milk, salt, and honey.
Let it sit overnight in the fridge. Top with toppings of your choice if you like, and enjoy!
